At Danville Congregational Church, children are not just the future of the church—they’re fully part of it today. During worship, children begin in the Sanctuary and are invited, following Time for Our Children, to participate in age-appropriate spiritual formation through storytelling, creativity, and connection.
Children rejoin their families after worship during fellowship time. Whether they choose to stay in worship or join a class, every child is welcomed with love and care.
Godly Play (ages 3–grade 2)
uses a Montessori-style approach to engage children with the stories of our faith.
Through simple materials, open-ended questions, and quiet reflection, children are invited to
wonder, create, and discover how God’s story lives in them.
